Summary

These positions are located with Bonneville Power Administration in Operational Monitoring, Analysis & Process (TTOM) organization of

Operational Services (TTO), Transmission Technology Services (TT), Transmission Services (T).

A successful candidate in the IT Specialist position will serve as an IT specialist performing duties associated with the Customer Support (CUSTSPT), Operating Systems (OS), and Network Services (NETWORK) IT specialty areas.



Duties

As an IT Specialist, you will:

  • Coordinate the implementation of security programs across platforms and establishes vulnerability reporting criteria.
  • Maintains logs and prepares reports on control system operation and performance.
  • Reviews proposed new systems, networks, and software designs for potential security risks.
  • Provides technical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team in diagnosing sources of service interruptions and developing and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitors multiple networks for conditions that require attention to avoid a degraded service.
