Mission for Position

Responsible to provide leadership to the dermatology clinic while assisting in clinical and reception duties so that all patients have a high-quality, personalized experience during their visit.

Duties & Responsibilities OR Position Summary

Strategic Priorities
Review & develop organizational product lines and servicesReview, develop and operate within budgetMonitor staff utilization and productivityPractice and promote intra-departmental cooperationReview & develop department policies and proceduresIdentify and monitor quality improvement indicators
People Priorities
Responsible for continuous education of staff in AWAIR.Responsible for addressing staffing shortages as needed. Evaluate staffing pattern as indicated.Responsible for monitoring staff with development of Standards of Care.Responsible for evaluating personnelResponsible for hiring of new personnelAct as liaison between staff and physiciansOrientation of new personnelResponsible for staff coaching, discipline and evaluation
Operational & Day-to-Day Priorities
Delegate responsibilities within scope of personnel's ability as needed to meet department goals and in provision of quality patient care.Monitor compliance to written policies / procedures and patient notification data.Assist personnel in problem solving using a positive manner.Step into patient registration, scheduling or nursing as required to maintain the flow of the clinic when needed due to patient volume, staff call-outs, etc.Other duties as assigned or required
