American Equipment is seeking a highly visible FP&A Manager to drive culture, analytics, and organizational improvement through quantitative financial and operational examination.

Together, the American Equipment companies provide comprehensive solutions for everything related to customers' overhead crane and scales needs, including OSHA mandated inspections, preventative maintenance and repair field services, parts, engineering, ISO certified fabrication, new and replacement equipment, automated systems, system modernizations and training.
What you will do:
Develops sophisticated, data driven models to drive business decisions and identify strategic opportunities in partnership with senior leaders in Sales and Operations
Drives annual budget process with multiple operating entities
Collaborate with other teams to provide value-add analysis and reporting
Assist in creating key KPI dashboards and benchmarks to identify opportunities to drive operating improvement
Work closely with all levels of management to assist in the annual budget process
Perform data and analysis for board meetings
The scope of responsibility for this position will grow as the American Equipment family of companies continue to grow.
What you need to be successful:
Strong attention to detail
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, primarily relating to developing and maintaining financial models
Experience in financial forecasting
Experience in creating company-wide annual budgets
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to prepare professional written and oral presentations regarding financial and operational analysis
Comfortable offering your opinion, even if it differs from those around you
Open to listening to and considering opinions that differ from your own
Experience with Private Equity backed companies is a plus
Required Education
BS Finance or related quantitative field required
MS Finance or related quantitative field preferred

Schedule:
This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift. There will likely be exceptions where this position works outside of normal working hours.
