Role Overview:

  • Ensure availability of materials by managing Purchase Orders, establishing master data, and addressing supply risks.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Place Purchase Orders with suppliers, overseeing orders regarding delivery, quality, and pricing.
  • Make necessary adjustments in response to modifications.
  • Manage quantities within stock order levels and merge various orders for a single supplier.
  • Resolve Purchase Order issues like GR-IR discrepancies, missing Invoices, Under/Over Delivery, etc.
  • Execute setup and maintenance of operational procurement master data.
  • Communicate forecast with suppliers, ensuring validation, especially for Supplier Managed/Owned Forecast.
  • Monitor order confirmation, oversee open orders, expedite when necessary, and update SAP.
  • Identify potential material shortage risks and take preventive measures.
  • Handle return orders to suppliers and address root causes of availability issues.
  • Manage consignment stock at suppliers, including regular stock take/count. Be completely on-site.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or Logistics management, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in purchasing and planning roles supporting production and warehousing.
  • CPIM certification or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Proficient with MRP/ERP systems, able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with suppliers and technical teams.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate Excel skills preferred (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities, working well in ambiguous situations, organized, and diligent with excellent time management.

Compensation Transparency:

The salary range for this role is $58,000 to $100,000 annually. Actual base pay may vary based on several factors, including expertise, experience, location, and internal equity. Other compensations like annual bonuses, commissions, or long-term incentives may be provided. Employees are entitled to our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits package, encompassing generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase scheme, education reimbursement, and more.
