T he Feather Operator is responsible for, safely and efficiently operating the properties' feather hydrolyzer and associated rendering equipment to produce a high quality finished product that will meet all food safety plan and production requirements.

• Must follow all established safety guidelines of company and identify conditions that may cause an unsafe condition or a food safety hazard.
• Record all information according by to the Food Safety Plan and CGMPs.
• Responsible for daily inspection of equipment to ensure safe operation, food safety and performance specifications.
• Employee is responsible for communicating any issues with safety, Food safety plan or and production limitations with the management team.
• Operator will monitor raw material bins, flow ways and all finished storage bins, to ensure proper food safety and production efficiency.
• Must monitor all mechanical systems to report any safety, food safety plan or mechanical issues, and be able to react accordingly.
• Preforms all necessary housekeeping duties in assigned areas.
• May have to assist maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Requirements:
• Must be capable of communicating in both oral and written formats.
• Must have an understanding of the fundamental principles of manufacturing.
