GENERAL PURPOSE: This operator prepares various drawings of such units as construction projects, including various views, sectional profiles, irregular or reverse curves, hidden lines, and small intricate details.Work requires use of most of the conventional drafting and CAD techniques and a working knowledge of the terms and procedures of the occupation.The operator makes arithmetic computations using standard formulas. Familiar or recurring work is assigned in general terms.Revisions to existing drawings may be assigned with a verbal explanation of the desired results.More complex revisions are produced from sketches, computer models or specifications that clearly depict the desired product.RESPONSIBILITES:Able to incorporate engineer's markups on Piping and Instrument Diagram, Equipment Drawing's, Safety Flow Drawings.Work independently with minimum supervision, task oriented and able to meet deadlines.Able to interpret and incorporate client's CAD standardsProficient with AutoCAD.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 3-5 plus years of Computer Aided Drafting experience.Working knowledge and ability to recognize structural, mechanical and electrical components of plan view drawings.Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft programs is desired.AutoCAD (a CAD software product for 2- and 3- dimensional design and drafting) are required.Good oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team, are prerequisites.High school diploma is required.Must be computer savvy and a fast learner.
