Part-time Biochemistry Lecturer Position in Biological Sciences

The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a part-time Lecturer position for the spring 2024 term with an anticipated start date of 8 January 2024. This position is outside of the tenure stream and entails teaching one section of the Biosc 1580 Biochemistry Seminar; this course entails teaching students how to navigate primary literature in the field of biochemistry. Minimum qualifications are a PhD in Biochemistry or a related field and previous teaching experience. Preferred qualifications are the publication of post-graduate research work, formal training in teaching, experience as a sole instructor, and experience teaching similar literature-based courses.
