Job Description


Epsilon is in search of a Senior Pharmaceutical DTC Copywriter who will report to the Director of Medical Editing and Copy in our Digital Experience Design (DXD) Practice.


In this position, you will have the opportunity to merge your love for pharmaceutical copywriting and engaging with patients who have rare and refractory diseases through captivating marketing materials. Your tasks will involve working on both branded and unbranded campaigns over various deliverables with a focus on websites and emails.


Responsibilities
  • Condense medical and scientific information into understandable DTC marketing copy
  • Analyze medical references/literature and transform that data into high-quality engaging consumer marketing content
  • Develop copy following AMA style and client's brand style guidelines
  • Interpret complex information like clinical data
  • Lead content development and take charge of assets from inception to final approval
  • Keep updated on industry practices and regulatory requirements impacting pharma writing
  • Produce deliverables in compliance with regulatory and industry standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion
  • Participate actively in various meetings and incorporate feedback efficiently
  • Maintain motivation and flexibility to work under deadline pressure
  • Collaborate closely with graphic designers
  • Handle administrative responsibilities effectively
  • Undertake other duties as required
  • Potential travel involvement
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years' medical writing experience in a pharma marketing agency with at least 2 years in DTC copywriting
  • Demonstrated content development skills
  • Creative and strategic thinking abilities for unique customer solutions
  • Strong English grammar skills for oral and written communication
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work individually in a fast-paced setting
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
  • Good time management and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in various software tools would be a plus
