Job Description
As a Carpenter Foreman, you will supervise employees while actively engaging in 'bags on' carpentry work. You will coordinate and manage daily on-site safety meetings with employees and contractors, maintain constant communication with the Superintendent, and direct supervisory personnel in planning. Additionally, you will inspect work in progress to ensure conformity to specifications and adherence to construction schedules. You will also perform other duties as assigned. This role involves working on commercial projects, specifically a dealership for notable automotive brands, and requires the flexibility to work weekends.
Hard Skills- 5-7 years of Lead Level Carpentry Experience
- 2-3 years of Foreman Level experience
- Framing experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Proficiency in Procore – computer skills, email, RFIs, reviewing blueprints/plans, punch list
- Effective communication
- Leadership
- Supervisory skills
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).
Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Los Angeles, California.
Work EnvironmentThe role is based in LA, CA, focusing on a high-profile commercial project. The typical working hours are from 6 or 7 AM to 3 or 4 PM, Monday to Friday, with expected work during the weekends.
