Join a nationally recognized Breast Care Center at Texas Tech University Medical Center, El Paso, and be part of its transformation into an all-encompassing Cancer Center.
POSITION:
- Specialize in 100% Breast Surgical Oncology
- Work 80% of the time in clinical duties, with the remaining 20% dedicated to administrative tasks, research, and teaching
- Competitive compensation at the 75th percentile in MGMA range
- For Assistant Professors, salaries range from $390k to $400k, dependent on rank and experience
- Weekly clinical schedule comprising 3 to 5 day sessions based on patient volumes
- Designated OR day each week with flexibility to perform surgeries on other days as needed
- No on-call duties are required
- Team consists of a Breast Surgeon, Plastic Surgeon, Medical Oncologist, 2 Nurse Practitioners, and 2 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists
- Attend to approximately 30% of all newly diagnosed breast cancer patients in the region
- Access to state-of-the-art mammography suite, ultrasound, CT scans, and radiation facilities
- Active participation in monthly onsite tumor board meetings
Candidates must have completed a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship Training.
