To accomplish this, we use a combination of molecular and systems level approaches in both mice and zebrafish. The lab is looking for postdoctoral scholars with interest in neuroimmune interactions, molecular to circuit level dissection of circuits in the nervous system, neuronal control of organ function, or whole-body metabolism.Candidates with experience in molecular biology, neuronal manipulations and imaging, immunology, metabolic phenotyping (e.g. metabolomics), and electrophysiology are particularly encouraged to apply.Develop and test hypotheses to probe brain-body communication across scales in mice, with the potential to also work in zebrafish. In vivo two photon imaging and neuronal manipulations with opto- and chemogenetic toolsPhenotype function at the level of individual organs, metabolism using indirect calorimetry and metabolomics, and behaviorSingle cell RNA sequencing and single cell ATAC sequencingA Ph.
