  • Required License/Registration/Certification: Have one or more of the following:
    • Kentucky Registered State Registered Nurse Assistant (SRNA), for Emergency Department (ED)- KY Registered State Registered Nurse Assistant (SRNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
    • Registered Nurse (RN) nursing student who has completed first fundamental course and a clinical
    • Military Medic
    • current/active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
    • Acquired Nursing Care Technician (NCT) competencies through continuous employment at the University of Kentucky; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification for the Healthcare Provider valid at time of hire is required
  • Physical Requirements: This position requires performing various tasks such as sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods, lifting objects, and exposure to different elements
  • Shift: Must be able to work three 12.5-hour shifts per week, including some weekends and holidays
  • Job Summary: This position involves working closely with a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care and support in a team-oriented environment
  • Starting Pay Adjustment: The minimum hourly rate for this position is $18.20/hour

    The ideal candidate will possess compassion, honesty, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic. Must be able to work in a team, take direction, and communicate effectively
