AtkinsRéalis is looking for an Airport Civil Engineer based out of our Orlando, Florida office. This candidate will work alongside other engineers developing the planning, design, and construction of airside and landside airport improvement projects in Florida and throughout the country.

How will you contribute to the team?
Plans, designs, and leads production of engineering drawings for airport and airport-related civil engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, roadway, parking lots, and supporting infrastructure.Prepares specifications, contract documents, and other project related documents such as reports and permit applications.Conducts engineering investigations and planning work including collection and analysis of data using established procedures, performance of routine calculations, and participation in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions.Researches project site conditions, and/or regulatory agency specifications or regulations.Performs field observations of construction where appropriate.Coordinates with clients, permitting agencies, FAA, and other agencies having jurisdiction as required.Participates in quality control checks, maintaining quality standards in all work produced, checking computations, and/or reviewing designs and drawings performed by others.Upholds engineering ethics and standards of conduct.Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
What will you contribute?
B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering in Engineering and have 3-8 years of experience. The typical incumbent has 3 to 5 years of experience since bachelor's degree.EIT strongly preferredExperience with airside and landside aviation projects.Strong understanding of FAA Advisory Circulars, airport design, and engineering standards.Good interpersonal skillsStrong technical writing and communications skills.Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.
