Mercy Home Health, a member of Trinity Health at Home, has a need fora Full time RN WOCN Consultant for the greater Bucks County and NE Philadelphia.

The WOCN is responsible toprovide wound care to the patients of Mercy Home Health. Coordinates treatment to provide comprehensive wound care assessments and plan of care including goals, implementation of treatment, evaluation and outcomes for patients. Provides patient, family, and staff education regarding wound management, prevention of pressure ulcers, support surfaces, dressing selections, and other therapies.

Minimum qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved nursing education program
  • Current Wound Care Certification required
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of PA
  • One (1) year experience as a professional care nurse
  • Must have current Driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work a weekend rotation once month & 2 holidays annually

Current RN licensure with WOCN. Certified wound, ostomy, and continence nurse (WOCN) required, valid driver's license and car insurance.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrates ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills. Ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations with a high degree of accuracy. Computer skills preferred. Previous experience in Home Care Setting preferred. Minimum of 3 relevant experience preferred.
