Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ETL developer with strong expertise in IBM InfoSphere/DataStage, data analysis, and data modeling. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Data Warehousing, Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL Server development, and building interfaces between business applications, with additional experience in Agile/Scrum processes and web service development (IIB/ADF) highly desired. Exceptional communication skills are essential.
Duties:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere/DataStage.
  • Conduct data analysis to define requirements and develop data models that support business needs.
  • Work closely with business users to gather and clarify requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL Server scripts and procedures.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, contributing to sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.
  • Develop and maintain web services using IIB (IBM Integration Bus) and/or ADF (Application Development Framework), if applicable.

Required Skills:

  • 10 years of experience with IBM's Infosphere Data Stage product line
  • 8 years of experience working with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server Database Development.
  • 6 years of experience with data integration between business systems
  • 6 years of experience with gathering requirements, data analysis and data modeling
  • 6 years of experience working with SSIS,Azure Cloud, ADF and Data Bricks
  • 6 years of experience with other data integration tools and techniques including IIB, MFT, web services, messaging and other modern data warehousing
