WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Marketing Operations Manager at ExamFX will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our marketing operations, with a focus on marketing automation, data management, and technology optimization. This role requires a candidate who is highly skilled in HubSpot and Salesforce, and who can lead initiatives to rethink and improve our utilization of these tools. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness across the marketing and sales funnel. This individual is responsible for day-to-day operations and management of the CRM & eCommerce platform for ExamFX. This manager will play a key role in both strategic direction and program implementation for the ExamFX website property. This role will also lead email marketing, marketing data hygiene and projects, digital analytics, new feature Quality Assurance and QA/UAT and CX/UX testing.

This position is responsible for managing projects focused on keeping the website consistent with our brand while providing the customer an exceptional experience. This includes evaluating the data and consumer journey analytics to assess opportunities for improvement.

The Marketing Automation Manager coordinates cross-functional resources, establishes and manages project timelines and deliverables and ensures all projects are appropriately scoped, allocated resources, scheduled appropriately, delivered on time, within budget and to the original vision. This position meets with stakeholders within the eCommerce, Marketing, Creative, and IT teams as well as third-party vendors to understand each project and build project plans according to the requirements.

WHERE YOU'LL WORK

This will be a remote position in the continental United States.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Manage day-to-day updates to product and content, site functionality, order fulfillment and processing
  • Manage the user experience of the front-end website including site navigation, checkout funnel, to optimize user experience and conversion rate
  • Email campaign development: HTML creation, testing, data segmentation, deployment, and performance analysis
  • Lead the process of evaluating our tech stack and data sources then charting and implementing a path to consolidate and optimize use of our tools, then maintaining data hygiene processes
  • Own lead nurture strategy including lead scoring and grading, lead routing rules, landing pages, ad hoc email campaigns, and webinar programs to meet new business goals, cross-sell, and retain current clients
  • Establish KPIs, set up tagging/tracking, monitor performance, implement tests, and make data-driven optimization recommendations
  • Serve as a primary point within the organization for cross functional partners acting to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and QA/UAT front end test site initiatives
  • Prepare project plans and manage project backlog. Drive projects to completion
  • Provide expertise on current industry best practices and lead the team and organization beyond current thinking
  • Develop and implement growth strategies through ExamFX websites
  • Support Customer Service with issues affecting website users
  • Guide ecommerce decision making, projects and workflow within the department
  • Provide measured reporting for the executive level to help guide overall marketing and operational direction within eCommerce

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or Communications preferred
  • Two to five years of progressive ecommerce marketing for both B2B and B2C
  • Strong proficiency in HubSpot is required
  • Experience with Salesforce and Magento platform preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, focus, lead, influence and delegate
  • Proven ability to analyze data and translate customer insights into successful marketing programs
  • Possess a high degree of creativity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate to customers
  • Resourceful, proactive, solutions-oriented work style
  • Empathetic and current understanding of customer experience and expectations
  • Moderate understanding of SEO tactics, including experience with Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of Content Management Systems
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS related to landing page and email design
  • Adept with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to persuade, negotiate, and work cross-functionally
  • Ability to rapidly prioritize and react to changing market and organizational dynamics
  • Understanding of user-design, graphic design and interface principles of responsive
  • Experience with Marketing Automation software
  • B2B and B2C digital marketing experience
