The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking to recruit a board-certified endocrine surgeon. This clinically active position will provide both outpatient and inpatient care, alongside our multidisciplinary group of physicians. The accepted candidate will be required to possess a track record of excellent clinical performance and scholarly enthusiasm.
Job Duties
- Develop and participate in department and division clinical, research, and educational programs.
- Support the implementation of evidence based, state of the art protocols and quality metrics for the service at BCM.
- Provide call coverage for CHI St.
- Actively participate in college, department, hospital, and clinical professional meetings.
- Grow the Surgical Oncology division through participation in clinical, research, and education efforts.
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Texas Medical Board certification or eligibility.
- Completion of a certified surgical residency program.
- Completion of a certified endocrine surgery fellowship.
