Summary

The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking to recruit a board-certified endocrine surgeon. This clinically active position will provide both outpatient and inpatient care, alongside our multidisciplinary group of physicians. The accepted candidate will be required to possess a track record of excellent clinical performance and scholarly enthusiasm.

Job Duties

  • Develop and participate in department and division clinical, research, and educational programs.
  • Support the implementation of evidence based, state of the art protocols and quality metrics for the service at BCM.
  • Provide call coverage for CHI St.
Luke's Hospital, TCH, and other affiliated hospitals as needed.

  • Actively participate in college, department, hospital, and clinical professional meetings.
  • Grow the Surgical Oncology division through participation in clinical, research, and education efforts.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Texas Medical Board certification or eligibility.
  • Completion of a certified surgical residency program.
  • Completion of a certified endocrine surgery fellowship.
