Duties
  • You will ensure inventory is properly maintained and hazardous materials meet shipboard specifications.
  • You will identify supply discrepancies and recommend solutions.
  • You will store (Hazardous Materials) HAZMAT materials following prescribed policies and regulations.
  • You will handle, assist with HAZMAT ordering, material delivery, and inventorying.
  • You will coordinate ordering and delivery of HAZMAT materials.
  • You will complete the Afloat HAZMAT Coordinator, Hazardous Material Control and Management Program and Consolidated Hazardous Material Reutilization and Inventory Management Program (CHRIMP) within six months of employment.
