Concessions Intern

The Concessions Intern is responsible for delivering a superior level of service to the Concessions department. Interns support the Concessions Manager in the day-to-day operations and coordination of event information. A Concessions Intern should be a professional, customer service-oriented, well-organized, and positive individual. A Concessions Intern will work under the guidance of the Concessions Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining employee schedules within ABI and the Staffing Matrix
• Assists the Concessions Manager with day to day operations of the Concessions department.
• Assists in overseeing the general operations of Concessions.
• Supports the Concessions department and all other operational needs required for successful game day execution.
• Provides prompt and professional communication to the Concessions department and internal staff.
• Maintains communication with the Concessions Manager
• Adheres to the Legends Uniform and Grooming guidelines and ensures staff are doing the same.
• Additional responsibilities as determined by management.

Requirements

• Prior sports sales/service/hospitality industry or equivalent experience is required.
• Possess a strong team-oriented work ethic and a positive, "Service-First" attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work within a team environment, aiding and support to team members.
• Previous working experience with POS systems.
• Able to work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends, and holidays). Suite interns are expected to be available, at minimum, the 5 days prior to an event and event day.
• Must be available for all Florida State Football Games and major Stadium events.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
• Must have the ability to lift, push, and pull approximately 50lbs.
• Must have the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time while navigating ramps, stairs, and elevators.
• Follow and encourage the team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and completing company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training.
