Dishwasher - Part Time - Port St. Lucie, FL

Availability for Afternoon and Evening Shifts

We are currently hiring for Dishwashers who will be responsible for washing and sanitizing pots, dishes, utensils, and carts by either mechanical washing or hand washing; stacking plates; and sorting and polishing silver.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain extreme sanitary conditions by thoroughly cleaning work areas on a daily basis.

Receive, stock, store, and transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.

Clean all kitchen areas to include stainless and surface tops and shelves including walls in kitchen areas.

Clean equipment and floors.

Remove trash and garbage and place them into designated receptacles. Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.

Attend in-service training and educational seminars as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and training.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS


Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write. simple sentences. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS


Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical situations.


REASONING ABILITY


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
