Emergency Medicine Medical Director in London, OH

As a facility medical director (FMD), you will oversee EM physicians and advanced practice clinicians. Working closely with TeamHealth's regional medical director, VP of operations, senior VP, and clinical senior VP leadership team, you will build strong relationships within the team, nursing staff, and hospital leadership. Together, you will influence clinical strategies, streamline workflows to enhance patient satisfaction, and optimize healthcare delivery.
Our ideal FMD is a results-driven, strategic leader with a commitment to top-notch patient care, ED process enhancement, and ensuring healthcare access for the community. In addition to collaborating with senior leadership, you will have comprehensive support from our administrative departments, covering areas such as billing/coding, clinical documentation, human resources, and more.

- Annual Volume: 13,972
- Daily Physician Coverage: 24 hrs/day
- Daily APC Coverage: 10 hrs/day
- Hospital Beds: 109
- ED Beds: 16 Private beds
- Acuity Level: Medium
- Admission Rate: 15%
- Telemedicine capabilities through The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
Requirements for the ideal candidate:
- AOBEM or ABEM board certification or eligibility within 5 years of residency
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in managing physicians
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in computers and EMRs
