Summary:

Coordinates activities and flow of work for the organization's Medical Fitness Programs.

Responsibilities:

Facilitates the development, implementation and evaluation of medical fitness programming. Works collaboratively with physician groups, rehabilitation departments and other stakeholders to design and implement medical fitness programs particular to their patients' varying medical conditions. Develops and sustains referrals sources into medical fitness programs.Prioritizes multiple tasks and responsibilities to ensure safe and high quality patient care in all medical fitness programs. Delegates and assigns work commensurate with knowledge, skill and experience, and ensures the work is performed appropriately.Responsible for acquiring and analyzing patient outcome data and reporting to stakeholders, as needed.Responsible for new-hire orientation, training and competency compliance, annual appraisals and overall management of medical fitness staff. Serves as a role model to motivate and mentor staff. Serves as a resource on departmental/area policies, procedures and services.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Two (2) years of experience.
