The demand for rheumatologists is growing, and we know you have choices. We offer continuous support to help you grow and we encourage you to follow your passion - something you won't find at other organizations. If it focuses on patient care, you're allowed sensible self-governance to build your practice at Atrius Health your way. You also have reasonable autonomy in clinical day-to-day life.

We specialize in the treatment of chronic disease.

At Atrius Health, we treat a diverse group of patients and rheumatologic conditions that cover a comprehensive scope of diseases and medications. Because rheumatology at Atrius Health is a chronic disease specialty, our patients trust us and see our team more than their own primary care physicians. In fact, patient communications garner top Press Ganey ratings.

At Atrius Health, we focus on outpatient care, offering the same level of care that hospitals provide. Our rheumatology team has a stellar reputation, in part because each of our physicians brings multiple years of experience. We're proud to have a great team from top to bottom and a remarkable diversity of clinical cases. Rheumatologists at Atrius Health also have a built-in patient panel and continuous referrals resourced from our primary care providers.

We're also champions of innovation. At Atrius Health, you'll have the opportunity to engage in nearly any development that interests you - like the ultrasound Dr. Amy Wu, our Chief of Rheumatology, brought in a few years ago. "If you're interested in innovation, the sky is the limit" says Dr. Wu.

Designated support ensures an efficient workday flow.

At Atrius Health, our rheumatologists work as a team across multiple Massachusetts geographies - from Dedham to Somerville to Plymouth. It ensures you to remain actively engaged with your nursing team, which allows you to practice at the top of your license with full staff support.

As a rheumatologist here, you can rely on collaboration and support from other specialties, including nephrology, orthopedics and pulmonology. You'll receive consistent pharmacy and scheduling support to help you focus solely on medical decision making. To help with patient flow and physician workload, our rheumatology physicians also rely on two nurses assigned specifically to work with them. Nurses do chart checks and medication checks and manage communications with patients, ensuring you get through your day more efficiently and can return home to your family.

Your well-being ensures the well-being of those we serve.

Work-life balance is a core value here, so becoming a part of Atrius Health signifies a shift in both your work and lifestyle. All our rheumatologists have small children at home, so we do all we can to get you home on time. Even Dr. Wu leaves on time most days.
