Our Exciting Opportunity:The team at Chewy is on the lookout for a motivated and dedicated individual to join us as a Manager of HR Technology Solutions in Boston, MA. In this position, you get to blend creativity, foresight, and product expertise to craft seamless and user-friendly solutions that cater to HR service delivery, case management processes, and improve team member experiences. Your role involves collaborating across the board to implement and maintain our core HR application efficiently within a fast-paced setting. The primary aim is to spearhead research, analysis, and configuration enhancements to elevate the experience of employees, managers, and center of excellence. You'll play a pivotal role in propelling the implementation of new features and improvements by understanding user requirements, drafting functional specifications, streamlining processes, and ensuring a top-notch user experience.Your responsibilities also extend to liaising with business teams to translate intricate requirements into effective solution designs, ensuring data integrity, configuration compliance, and security standards. Drawing on your deep functional knowledge, you will contribute to system requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment activities, particularly focusing on ServiceNow as part of the HR Systems & Solutions team.You will be reporting to the Associate Director, Delivery Optimization, taking charge of defining and delivering HR Service solutions that align with Chewy's overarching HR and talent strategies. Your role will revolve around delivering sophisticated integrated solutions that automate HR processes and elevate the team member journey.Here's a snapshot of your major objectives in the first year:
  • Supporting the HR Service Solutions Team in evolving into an agile powerhouse, guiding them to impress all Chewtopians and institute efficient delivery standards, communication protocols, and enhanced visibility.
  • Owning and driving your workstream roadmap by evaluating and enhancing existing configurations, overseeing OKR development, and championing a culture of continuous improvement and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Actively exploring cutting-edge technologies to enhance HR Service solutions, crafting compelling business cases, and advocating for innovation.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Deliver solutions that align with user needs and business objectives, playing a proactive role in realizing our company's vision.
  • Offer strategic guidance and manage the vision for the HR Service Solutions Team, steering them towards effective operations that fulfill documented business requirements.
  • Lead the delivery process to ensure optimal product configuration, streamlined business operations, well-controlled IT delivery, and a superior user experience.
  • Identify business needs, recommend service enhancements to boost system efficiency, and document designs to facilitate maintenance.
  • Engage stakeholders to prioritize product features based on their input and feedback, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Work closely with IT to uphold technical standards, facilitate seamless integration with Chewy's tech ecosystem, and ensure robust data architecture.
  • Collaborate with various departments and external vendors to drive effective solution design and delivery.
  • Partner with HR stakeholders to translate business objectives into product designs and drive their successful execution.
  • Maintain security standards in collaboration with IT, troubleshoot problems, and ensure smooth operations for HR Service solutions.
  • Undertake any other duties as necessary.
Basic Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented individual with a track record of successful product delivery.
  • Ability to leverage data and user research to drive product decisions effectively.
  • Experience in SaaS configuration projects, particularly with ServiceNow HRSD module.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian, Microsoft solutions, Workday, automation technologies, and design tools.
  • Potential for travel as part of the role.
