Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for USACE for Real Estate Personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New England District is responsible for the Corps' civil works, military, hazardous waste remediation, and international and interagency services program responsibilities throughout New England. This position is located in Concord, MA.



Duties
  • Serve as a senior realty specialist and designated senior negotiator.
  • Make authoritative recommendations and decisions in approving and disapproving transactions for the branch chief's review.
  • Determine and issue appropriate form of real estate instruments (easement, license, permit, etc.).
  • Closely monitor acquisition, management, and disposal actions, assigned to the Conveyancing Branch.
  • Review selected realty actions and accompanying documents for technical correctness and content.
  • Prepare real estate planning reports.
