Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Hospitality Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will provide critical support in the evaluation, acquisition, and management of hospitality assets. This role requires strong financial modeling skills, market research capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex analyses effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the Hospitality Analyst:

Financial Analysis & Modeling: Conduct financial modeling, including cash flow projections, occupancy projections, underwriting, and valuations using Excel. Prepare variance reporting, discounted cash flows, and IRRs.

Asset & Property Management: Monitor, analyze, and report the financial performance of the hospitality portfolio. Create and execute business plans for each hospitality asset, proposing goals and objectives for each property.

Market Research & Reporting: Perform macro and micro market research, including site visits. Track, maintain, and update sales and rent comparable databases. Prepare and present investment memorandums and reports to senior management and investors.

Transaction Support: Assist in the negotiation of contracts. Support due diligence processes for new acquisitions and developments. Interface with lenders, equity partners, legal, and other third-party vendors.

Budgeting & Planning: Organize and participate in the preparation and review of annual property operating budgets and business plans. Assist in the preparation and approval process of property operating budgets, monthly operating statements, and variance reports.

Operational Support: Provide support to capital markets efforts for financings, acquisitions, and dispositions. Support property management efforts and conduct regular inspections of all assets. Foster and maintain positive guest relationships.

Risk Management & Strategy: Strategically assess and manage risks associated with current assets on a near-term and long-term basis. Extensively research relevant markets/trends to ensure assets are managed competitively.

Collaboration & Liaison: Participate in property calls with partners, third-party managers, and leasing agents. Liaise with lenders, brokers, vendors, and third-party service providers. Report to the Director of Hospitality Asset Management.Qualifications of the Hospitality Analyst:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in real estate analysis in the hospitality sector.

Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel.

Strong analytical and research skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
