POSITION SUMMARY

Graduate Assistant for VP for Student Life will support the Office of VP for Student Life and other student affairs department. Graduate Assistant works collobarately with the Director of Student Life Community Relations and Special Project and the Vice President for Student Life. Position also serves as office support to other Student Life department heads including: Student Engaglement and Leadership, Wellness Center, Athletics, Residence Life, Career Development, Community Service and Center for Faith and Justice, International Studies and Campus Ministry. This is a one- year temporary graduate assistant position from April 2024 to May 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Admitted to a graduate program.
    • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA; and,
    • Submission of all required supplemental information including official transcripts, letter(s) of recommendation, personal statement, and resume.
  • Complete an interview process or equivalent assessment with the supervisor hiring for the graduate assistantship.
  • Commit to enroll full-time in a graduate program.
  • Full-time status is defined as two or more courses in progress during each academic session . Students in the DPT, MSPAS, and MS-SLP programs are ineligible for graduate assistantships but may be considered for temporary or hourly positions requiring fewer than 20 hours per week. Tuition remission is not available in these cases.
  • Maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 to maintain the graduate assistantship position.
