THIS IS A 2-YEAR CONTRACT LOCATED IN NEWPORT NEWS, VA PAYING $120 PER DIEM

Required Experience:

  • 6+years of experience as a CNC Machinist.

Description:

  • Set up and operate CNC and Manual Machines.
  • Set up and operate lathes and mills, vertical and horizontal.
  • Vertical Turning Centers, Horizontal Boring Mills, EDM Machines, etc.
  • Experience with controllers such as: Fanuc, Siemens, Acramatic, Cincinnati-Milacron, etc.
  • Familiar with the use of precision measuring instruments: outside/inside micrometers, depth mics, verniers, etc.
  • Familiar with threading and the various measuring/gauging requirements.
  • Familiar with Numerical Controlled Processes, Manual Data Input, Tooling Offsets, Conversation Controllers, etc.
  • Ability to comprehend complex mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Ability to read, edit, and write programming.
