Job Description

The R&D Manager will report into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

Leading and managing the R&D team to develop innovative products and technologies.Overseeing the research and development process from concept to production.Developing and executing R&D strategies aligned with company goals and market needs.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and production, to ensure successful project outcomes.Managing R&D project timelines, budgets, and resources.Identifying and evaluating new technologies, materials, and processes to enhance product performance and competitiveness.Maintaining detailed documentation of R&D activities and project progress.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience as an R&D Manager or in a similar leadership role within an industrial manufacturing settingBackground in research and development processes, methodologies, and best practicesExcellent project management skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyIn-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirementsStrong analytic and problem-solving skills.Experience with budgeting and resource allocation for R&D projects.Proven track record of successfully bringing new products from concept to market.Furnace, composite, or industrial furnace experience preferred
