The Senior Manager, Travel and Expense (T&E) for the Americas region is a pivotal role designed to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across all travel and expense activities within the corporate business travel sector. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of T&E operations, delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders, and driving cost efficiencies and compliance across the region.
In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of corporate travel within the company, ensuring that the Americas region remains at the forefront of operational excellence and innovation. This position will report directly to the Executive Director Travel & Sustainability and will work closely with regional and global leadership to advance the organization's travel and expense objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Co-Lead the T&E program across the Americas region, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with global policies and objectives. Provide dynamic leadership to regional travel teams and outsourced partners, fostering a culture of excellence, responsiveness, and continuous improvement. Oversee the management of corporate payment tools, the airline contracts, rental car program, and the small meetings program, ensuring they align with organizational goals and deliver value. Actively manage and analyze T&E reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization and savings. Engage in high-level negotiations with travel vendors to secure favorable terms and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the travel program. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements, applying this insight to drive innovation within the T&E program. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sourcing and project initiatives, contributing to broader procurement and operational strategies. Resolve complex issues and risks associated with travel and expenses, implementing solutions that mitigate impact and support business continuity. Regularly interact with senior management, providing insights and updates on T&E operations and performance. Champion compliance and adherence to travel policies, ensuring all activities are conducted within regulatory and ethical guidelines, while delivering superior customer service, addressing the needs and concerns of travelers and stakeholders with professionalism and care. Optimize the end-to-end T&E program, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance user experience and achieve financial targets. Qualifications: Proven experience (at least 5 years of experience would be preferred) in managing T&E programs within a multinational corporation, preferably in the Americas region. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving common goals. Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities, with a track record of successful vendor partnerships. Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to manage complex, multi-faceted operations with excellent analytical skills-adept at report analysis and data-driven decision-making. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively at all levels of the organization with displaying a commitment to delivering high levels of customer service and driving program enhancements that benefit the organization.#LI-REMOTE
