About the Position: This position is located at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Duties
  • Examines patients, orders, and evaluates the full range of tests to include polysomnography, multiple sleep latency testing, actigraphy, sleep diaries appropriate radiographic and laboratory testing.
  • Makes diagnoses and prescribe appropriate treatments.
  • Performs pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures as training/certification allows.
  • Serves as an expert and consultant in critical care for patients admitted to the ICU or general medical wards.
  • Ensures compliance with the hospital peer review mandates consistent with the requirements for all physicians actively seeing patients.
  • Recommends new approaches, techniques for providing improved, quality patient health care to clients and family members.
  • Performs clinical or laboratory research, giving critical medical evaluation lectures on pulmonary and critical care related topics.
