This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: This vacancy is for a Team Lead IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK)position located at Fort Huachuca AZ.



Duties
  • Serve as Team Leader responsible for project implementation and execution of large and complex network systems from inception through completion.
  • Provide technical guidance in all phases of the systems engineering model, from concept exploration through implementation to include the development of detailed site by site engineering.
  • Secure voice, data, and video communications; and local, campus and wide area networks.
  • Maintain liaison with other federal agencies, academia, and industry to keep abreast of latest technology, available equipment, and systems to meet Army requirements.
  • Incorporate project execution and planning, considerations such as site preparation, facility validation, installation requirements, required test equipment and quality assurance.
  • Prepare final technical reports and briefings encompassing pertinent analysis, conclusions, and recommendations for worldwide Army information systems
