Essential Job Functions:
Provide high quality medical care to patients with endocrine diseasesConducts examinations, assesses and evaluates symptoms, determines conditions, and prescribes medical treatment or servicesProvide outpatient and inpatient care to patients at University of Miami Health System and Jackson Memorial HospitalEngage in training of Endocrinology fellows, residents, and medical students.Oversees mid-level medical staff as assigned as well as nursing clinical staffDesired Qualifications:
MD/DO Degree requiredACGME US Internal Medicine ResidencyCompleted 3-year ACGME US Endocrinology FellowshipBoard Eligible/Certified in Internal Medicine and EndocrinologyFlorida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)Valid DEA licensureCurrent ACLS and BLS certification requiredMust maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirementsCurrent BLS certification required. ACLS (if applicable)Valid DEA licensure
