Responsible for work force management, recruitment, and staff training. Instructs and trains new employees. Provides input on performance progress, and disciplinary problems. Receives and confirms room reservation by letter, telephone, email, or personal contact. Registers and assigns rooms to guest, makes and issues room keys. Accepts payment, makes change, and presents departing guest's checkout statements.
Prepares and safeguards cash receipts, prepares and safeguards cash receipts, prepares daily cashier's reports, daily activity report, and may prepare consolidated daily activity report.
Maintains current checkout list. Prints backup reports from property management system. Ensures housekeeping status of rooms is updated. Records and notifies appropriate person/organization of maintenance problems reported by guests. Ensures front desk area and lobby remain clean. Process Night Audit procedure and close credit card machines nightly. Ensures that customer service is the first priority. Performs various clerical and administrative support duties. Use MS Office software to produce a variety of documents correspondence, reports, and other materials. Performs Records Custodian (RC) function for the work center. Assist in entering invoices into the Resale Inventory System (NAFRIS). Assist with cashier deposit reports and completing reports. Assist in ensuring all information is accurate and timely. Assists with payroll duties such as time keeper and makes inputs to timesheets. Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving telephone calls and visitors, routing and filing correspondence, maintaining files, makes tentative appointments for supervisor, and arrange staff meetings, as required-
