CMM Programmer

Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, has partnered with a leading steel furniture manufacturer in Athens, AL for a CMM Programmer to work the 2nd or 3rd shift.

Title: CMM Programmer

Location: Athens, AL

Pay: $35.00 to $38.00

About the Role:

This programmer will provide support serves as the customer advocate in the total supply chain from our supply base through product development and manufacturing.

• Specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment
• Analyzes production and service processes and standards
• Recommends revision of specifications when indicated
• Formulates or helps formulate quality assurance policies and procedures
• Directs and or executes tactical Quality Assurance inspection projects

Requirements:

• Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of the quality profession (e.g. ASQ certified Quality Technician or Quality Inspector Body of Knowledge)
• Creates, reviews, analyzes, and modifies CMM programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs
• Create thorough part Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) and/or performs capability studies
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency using PC-DMIS software and mechanical inspection methodology
• Ability to operate and program a Faro or Romer Arm.
