As our Agile Centre of Excellence (Agile CoE) grows at pace, our Global Agility Leader seeks an experienced Agility Trainer to further our Agile University, with the ability to train teams, team-of-teams and portfolios.

  • You will train our Product Squads, Pods & Alliances through our agile journey, providing training and mentoring across all Marsh McLennan (MMC) businesses, especially our technology executives, product owners, and product teams.
  • In 2021, we initiated building our reputation as an Agile company and how we build relationships & showcase the Marsh McLennan brand with the Global Agile communities, so we will look for your ideas and input to show how we can continually improve our learning approach to adopt new concepts and practices.
  • You will join us at a critical stage of our Agile Transformation journey, with the autonomy to train our leadership and delivery teams on agile practices and behavior, helping us find the path to success through sincere, passionate, and effective training.
  • You will help us improve our business agility across our organizations through agile training, better practices, attention to metrics and direct assistance.
  • Our Agile CoE collaborates with the business, operations, technology, finance, HR and other functions across the organization.
  • There will be occasions to organize events and meet-ups and deliver training remotely and in-person.

We will rely on you to:

  • Be a role model for agile practices within the organization, ensuring that all stakeholders understand the agile philosophy and the part they need to play to contribute to success.
  • Shape the continuous improvement mindset of the organization; create high-performing Alliances, Pods & Squads focused on customer centricity and value, fostering self-management and collaboration.
  • Train and provide tailored expertise across multiple teams to assess and uplift agile capability e.g., clear alignment with goals, breaking down work consistently, well-informed backlog management, servant leadership mindset, etc.
  • Curate and deliver agile capability uplift across Portfolios, Alliances, Pods and broader MMC e.g., training, custom workshops, mentoring, value stream review, etc.
  • Leverage the Agile & Product Owner communities to identify systemic (pan-MMC) inhibitors of agile ways of working and drive the resolution of these to enable the successful scaling of agile.
  • Work with other Agile Trainers & Coaches to establish and evolve MMC Culture and guidance, and improve the application of agile practices across MMC.
  • Share industry trends and best practices, share ideas with our internal community and influence external agile communities and standards.
  • Manage and influence stakeholders with different priorities.

What you need to have:

  • Significant experience as an Agile Trainer, guiding and training teams to adopt agile and overcome obstacles within large, complex organizations.
  • Exposure to , Large Scale Scrum, Scrum, Kanban, and any certifications such as CSP (Scrum),KMP (Kanban),and Practitioner would be highly desirable.
  • ICAgile Certified - ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF, ICP-CAT, ICP-ENT, ICP-LPM, ICP-SYS and ICP-LEA
  • Strong skills in facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, and transparency.
  • Instructional design, your ability to create curriculums and schedules based on the learning objectives. Additionally, it includes your ability to create audio and visual learning formats like graphs, slide presentations, animations, and infographics to ease the learning process.
  • Skills and competencies to facilitate Adult Learning, effective use of Training from The Back of the Room (TBR ) would be essential .

  • Ability to evaluate organizational maturity and create a plan to improve it through training.
  • Experience working with Business and Technology teams at an Executive level.
  • Computing or engineering qualification to degree level .
  • Professional Coaching competencies is plus (either ICF or EMCC)
  • Familiarity with both Business Change and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) preferred.
  • A drive for continual learning and development and the commitment to improving your own knowledge and skills. Growth Mindset and Adaptability are key mindset attributes .
  • While communication and teamwork may appear to be enough, "hard" knowhow of behavioral science and how it applies to human development is essential.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $91,900 to $183,800.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
