Electronic Combat Systems is looking for an experienced systems engineer with data analytics skills to contribute to the technical element execution on a program within our defense portfolio. As a Systems Engineer, you will work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug, test, and assess our Electronic Warfare systems. Focused on delivering innovative Electronic Warfare solutions through the lifecycle of system development, requirements development, integration & test, test planning, and execution in a field deployment environment.
Job responsibilities may include:
Identification of Key Performance Parameters/System Technical Performance Measures
Creation and/or review of operational concepts, systems, software, component, subsystem requirements
Deriving, decomposing, allocation and traceability of requirements to subsystems
Creation of external and internal interface definitions
Design/Creation of test plans, test procedures, and reports
Execution of integration, verification and validation tests
Collaboration with subject matter experts to identify issues and use of data to identify/propose solutions
Analysis of system performance data to identify actionable conclusions
Creation and/or review of algorithms to merge, manage, interrogate, and extract data
Use of machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems
Participation in trade studies, peer reviews and customer meetings
Present findings at internal (e.g., System Engineering Technical Reviews) and external (e.g., customer) reviews
Based on multiple factors, remote work may be a possibility for this position, at the discretion of the business.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in a Technical discipline
  • Demonstrated technical leadership skills and experience
  • Sound understanding of Systems Engineering processes
  • Expertise in data analysis and data sciences technologies and techniques
  • US Citizenship and ability to be granted a Top Secret security clearance by the Federal Government
  • Strong collaboration, integration, communication and leadership skills including effective written, verbal, and listening skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • More than 8 years of working experience as an engineer using a technical degree
  • Expertise in data sciences and modeling and simulation technologies and techniques
  • Experience in application of data analytics technologies/techniques to product development, production, or product support domains
  • Experience leading small teams
  • Experience with electronics systems
  • Active Secret Clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $215270
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
