POSITION OVERVIEW

Science 37's mission is to accelerate clinical research by enabling universal trial access for patients. Through our solutions; The MetasiteTM and Patient Recruitment, we accelerate enrollment by expanding the reach of clinical trials to patients beyond the traditional site and rigorously qualifying patients prior to referring them to a traditional site. Our solutions are powered by a proprietary technology stack with in-house medical and operational experts that enhance quality through standardized workflows and best-in-class study orchestration.

The IT Analyst assists with daily helpdesk user issues, facility and IT maintenance projects, and provides needed repairs and regular preventative maintenance of equipment. The IT Analyst will serve as the lead in managing equipment procurement, provisioning and inventory control. The IT Analyst is responsible for supporting the Science 37 staff under the direction of the Senior IT Operations Administrator.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Provide full user support including but not limited to service desk tickets, emails, direct messages, and IT hotline calls during assigned 24 hour on-call rotations
  2. Triage and assess all incoming requests/issues from any method of user communication (Service desk, email, hotline calls, direct messages, etc) and escalate to higher Tier support when necessary
  3. Lead in managing IT equipment inventory
  4. Assist with managing procurement/provisioning vendor relationship and related processes in support of user onboarding and offboarding activities
  5. Independently create both internal and external training documentation and provide user training when necessary
  6. Collaborate with IT System Administrators on IT related projects/ tasks which may include but not limited to; new system implementations, system maintenance, routine audits/analysis, and other IT related tasks
  7. Coordinate with the Security Team for the office's physical security and access control
  8. Use expertise and experience to research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
  9. Accurately convey information/requirements necessary for each project/task

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred and/or equivalent applicable experience

  1. Bachelor's Degree in a related technology field
  2. Strong technical knowledge of mobile devices (Macs, iPhones, iPads, Android, etc.)
  3. Understanding of Google Apps; IP networks and equipment; Wi-FI technologies; and printers.
  4. Knowledge of SSO (Okta)
  5. Understanding of access control and physical security measures
  6. Prior experience with user support and training
  7. 1+ year in database management

Capabilities

  1. Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written)
  2. Ability to ship/package/unpack equipment and supplies (up to 50 lbs.)
  3. Up to 20% travel, as needed for project team meetings, client presentations and other professional meetings/conferences as needed

SUPERVISION

The incumbent reports to the Senior IT Operations Administrator who will also assign projects, provide general direction and guidance. Incumbent is expected to perform duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
