Days and Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (AM shift - responds to stats/timed draws PRN)

About the Position

We are looking for a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team in Port Orchard, WA. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and processing blood and urine samples for testing. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting patient blood and urine specimens using established procedures
  • Preparing collected specimens for testing and analysis
  • Verifying test requisitions and patient identification
  • Labeling and documenting specimens for shipment
  • Tracking supplies needed for daily collections
  • Providing training to new employees
  • Adhering to safety and regulatory standards
  • Travelling to different sites as required
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • WA Phlebotomy License
  • Computer and technology proficiency
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and follow procedures

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions

  • Lifting, speaking, sitting or standing, and using hand dexterity
  • Various schedules and exposure to different environments
