Research Associate, Tissue Culture - Lexington, MA - Contract

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and skilled Research Associate II for Tissue Culture. This is a contract position located in Lexington, MA.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting multiple projects focused on the creation and evaluation of in vitro human models and assays. This role requires a strong focus on tissue culture, protocol adherence, and effective communication.

Skills & Requirements:

Proficiency in tissue culture, including strong aseptic technique and BSL2 stewardship, fixation and staining of cells, and troubleshooting.Ability to carry out complex protocols.Experience in basic molecular biology techniques.Experience working in a team environment, preferably within the industry (CRO, pharmaceutical, biotech).Fluency in spoken and written English.Proactive communication skills and cross-cultural understanding.Comfortable in asking for clarification and offering suggestions.Desirable skills include: propagation and manipulation of iPSC cultures, in vitro genome engineering, advanced cellular imaging and/or high throughput data collection skills, and ability to interpret interdisciplinary data.A strong desire to learn, ambition, and determination to contribute to improving patients' well-being.The Research Associate will:Collaborate with scientists to conduct lab-based studies in support of project efforts.Perform tissue culture work with human cell lines to develop and optimize workflows for cell model creation and quality control.Support project management efforts in creating standard operating procedures, sharing knowledge and skills, and fostering cross-functional teamwork.Engage in effective communication with colleagues within the organization.Compensation:$40 hourly If you are having difficulty in applying or if you have any questions, please contact Mike Raletz at (+1) or
