Outpatient Oncology Advanced Practice Provider

Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking an Experienced Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our established, growing outpatient Medical Oncology/Hematology team of 3 physicians and 2 APPs. Our practice is located in the Wallace Cancer Institute in the heart of Salisbury. Our providers are fully supported with a dedicated, onsite team of experienced nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff. Our expert clinicians provide the latest treatments or management of medical oncology conditions as well as hematologic conditions. We are looking for a provider that is committed to the health and wellness of the people in our community and surrounding communities by being a leader and innovator in Oncology. We're recruiting a provider who is committed to helping patients understand their disease and the treatments offered. We support each other in patient care and with personal growth This position includes hospital rounding as needed M-F. Hem/Onc experience Required. Schedule: 4 days a week, 10 hour days (7a-5p).

Qualifications
Education: Master's Degree required. Either a graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post Master's NP program required.
Experience: One to three years of experience in Oncology required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA or NP license in appropriate state required. NCCPA or registery with state nursing board, ACLS, DEA registry required.
Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
