Summary

To support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) in strategy and analysis and directing the organization's FP&A functions. This role works closely with Strategic Business Development and Marketing, Operation Leaders, D&S Leaders, D&S Finance, Controller and administrative functions. Operates in a multi-company environment with responsibilities covering CAE USA Inc. and its subsidiary(ies).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing, analyzing, and validating monthly reports.
  • Must have at least 4 years of FP&A
  • Explain the variations between actual results and forecasts, and the required variance reporting for the monthly Financial Statements.
  • Support business unit analysis as needed (program or business unit level)
  • Support due diligence and acquisition efforts, including analysis of target forecasts and opportunities.
  • Prepare, update, and analyze financial models.
  • Take part in special projects according to the needs of the Finance team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • University degree in finance or accounting, MBA a plus
  • Four years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
  • Analytical ability and autonomy.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and multitask.
  • Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) an asset.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
