Join the Snap Lab team at Snap Inc as a Finite Element Analysis Engineer.

  • Perform structural simulations using Abaqus or Ansys on consumer-grade hardware.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to validate simulated results.
  • Work with product design engineers on design optimization.
  • Recommend design changes to meet product performance requirements.
  • Participate in brainstorming and new technology development.
  • Develop new simulation tools as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in static and dynamic structural simulations, fatigue analysis, and reliability.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (NX, ProE, Solidworks).
  • Expertise in Abaqus or Ansys for structural simulations in consumer electronics.
  • Knowledge of solid mechanics, strength of materials, and failure modeling.
  • Experience with testing using various equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in creating non-linear material models.
  • Passion for innovative product development.
