As a mail inserter, your responsibilities will be to set up, operate, and troubleshoot mail sorting machines and other sorting equipment for different types of mail, such as bank statements, checks, and invoices, you will also perform clerical duties and document your daily work.
Location: Boston, MAPay rate: $18+/HR.Shift: 2nd -3rd shift - weekend hours available.The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.Job Description
- Operate machines that insert/fold printed matter, such as letters or booklets into folders or envelopes.
- Set up and adjust the machine to operate efficiently.
- Oversee output and make adjustments as necessary.
- Requires excellent knowledge of the equipment's standard setups, adjustments, and operating characteristics and the skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment.
- Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and equipment capabilities.
- Must be able to work overtime.
