MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborates with the Pastoral Leader, staff, and consultative bodies in implementing the mission of the parish.Directs the choir(s) of the parish.Recruits, trains, and supports parish ministers of music, including the Cantors/leaders of song, and choral groups.Selects and develops participation aids for the assembly to encourage full, active, and conscious participation through singing.Prepares and administers the Music budget as delegated by the pastoral leader.3+ years experience working as Choir Director or Pastoral Assistant for Music at another parish.Being able to play piano or guitar while singing is desired.Benefits: Eligible positions receive a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death and disability, long term disability, pension, 403(b), HSA, FSA, and generous sick leave, vacation and holidays.
