What you'll be doing:

  • Manage and collect company documentation, including certificates, VAT invoices, financial vouchers, contracts, etc.
  • Responsible for checking the original documents and preparing bookkeeping vouchers;
  • Ensure the accuracy of daily accounting transactions and month-end closings to provide timely and accurate financial data.
  • Manage bank accounts. Process bank payments. Regular reconciliation with the bank.
  • Issue VAT invoices and provide tax information by month for the tax bureau.
  • Prepare and review accounting documents for supporting internal reporting, external auditors and regulatory agencies.
  • Interact with and support the parent company accounting department based in the US.
  • Assist and support AP China Team on recruitment matters, manage employee onboarding and orientation as needed.
  • Collect and provide employee on-boarding/off-boarding information to the Payroll Agency in Mandarin. Point of contact for employees' SI&HF and benefits-related activities.
  • Purchase and maintain general office supplies.
  • Performs other office management duties as assigned.

What we look for in you:

  • BS/MS degree in accounting, finance or a related major
  • 1-3 years of professional accounting experience, audit experience or in-house finance experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with both Chinese and US GAAP
  • Good English writing and speaking skills.
  • Familiar with VAT invoice and settlement procedures
  • Familiar with financial software systems, including Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, responsible, patient, and conscientious.
