Civil Estimator

A well-established construction company with a specialty in Heavy and Civil, is expanding and looking to add a Jr. & Sr. Estimator to their team

This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who have at least 3 -5 years experience for the Jr. Estimator role or 10 + years of experience for the Senior Estimator role estimating heavy civil projects such as underground utilities, sitework, land development, highways, and bridges. As an estimator, you will play a crucial role in our client's project planning and budgeting process.

Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed cost analysis for heavy civil projects

Review project plans and specifications to develop accurate estimates

Collaborate with project teams to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements

Prepare and submit accurate bid proposals

Monitor project costs throughout the construction process

Essential Job Functions:

Analyze project drawings and documents to identify cost components

Utilize estimating software to generate accurate cost estimates

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information

Prepare and present project cost reports to management

Stay updated on industry trends and construction costs
