The main responsibility of the Project/Program Specialist is to advise prospective and current students. Primary duties include, but are not limited to: new student recruitment; maximizing session enrollment, supporting applicants, advising students throughout their program until graduation, and communicating with staff and faculty to assist with student success.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, education administration or related field from an accredited institution of higher education
  • At least two years relevant experience in education administration, business administration or related setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a higher education setting as a student advisor or in a position with knowledge of university systems
  • Experience working with specific subsets of students such as non-traditional, military, international, or an equivalent
