Summary

You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICIAN SPECIALIST in the HULL ARRAYS & DIST SENSOR ENGINEERING BRANCH of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI.



Duties
  • You will support the research, design/development, in-service support of US Navy systems. Including the devlopment of the following; requirements, integrated logistic support documentation, acquisition documents, and logistic planning.
  • You will be required to have a basic understanding of undersea warfare systems utilized in US Navy surface ship and/or submarine SONAR systems as well as fundamentals of logistic support for these systems.
  • You will utilize knowledge of US Navy acquisition rules and US Navy logistic requirements to develop, review, and/or coordinate plans and documentation for providing integrated logistic support services for US Navy SONAR systems.
  • You will will utilize knowledge of the Division's logistics management processes to support Department logistic management efforts on an as-needed basis.
