About who needs care:
My mother recently had neuro surgery and is recovering. She is in a wheelchair and needs assistance. She will have outpatient rehab to travel to and from as well.
About the care needs:
My ideal caregiver will need to be able to provide: grooming, bathing, meal prep, companionship, lifts, transfers. They will need to have patience with my mother's delayed speech. They should have a friendly personality and care for my mother as if it were their parent.
Services needed include:
transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
